owserver software package provides Backend server for 1-Wire control, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install owserver
owserver is installed in your system.
Make ensure the owserver package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep owserver *
You will get with owserver package name, version, architecture and description in a table
